About Resale Brief
Resale Brief is a free weekly email for people who resell on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, Etsy and Whatnot, whether you flip a few thrift finds on weekends or run it full time.
Every Tuesday you get:
- Fee & policy watch: what changed on each platform this week, linked to the source, with what it does to your take-home on a typical sale.
- AI listing workflow: one prompt or workflow for photos, titles, descriptions or pricing research that you can copy into your next listing session.
- What's selling: trend signals worth checking against your own sold comps.
- Worth your time: a few links that are actually useful.
How it's made
Each issue is researched and drafted with AI tools from public sources: platform announcements, seller news sites, shipping carriers and seller communities. A human (me) reviews every issue before it goes out, checks the numbers against the sources, and cuts anything that doesn't hold up. Fee and policy details change often, so every story links to its source. Check the platform's own page before making a big decision.
No income claims, no "quit your job flipping" hype. If a change is bad news for sellers, I'll say so plainly.
Who runs it
I'm Paul, and I run Resale Brief at Rocky Mountain Apps, a small studio that builds software, including tools for resellers like the free fee calculators at resellingmath.com and LensLumi, an AI listing photo and text tool. When I mention our own tools, I'll say they're ours.

Reply to any issue. It comes straight to me. Corrections, fee changes I missed and your best flip of the week are the most useful things you can send.
